These pages are operated by Know Something Labs. By submitting a contribution you agree to the following.

What you may submit

Things you actually know or have seen yourself, described in your own words.
Say how confident you are. “I think” and “I heard” are welcome — hedged knowledge is useful and we would rather have it labelled than overstated.

What you may not submit

Anything you know to be false.
Personal information about private individuals, or accusations about what a specific person did. This project is about how institutions and places work, not about informing on people.
Material you are contractually or legally barred from sharing, or that you obtained unlawfully.
Anything that infringes someone else’s copyright.

Publication and moderation

Contributions are published immediately, without prior review. We moderate after the fact: we may edit for clarity, remove, or decline to keep any submission at our discretion, and we act on reports promptly. Appearing on a page is not a statement that we have verified a claim.

Rights in what you submit

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Know Something Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, review, publish, and analyse your contribution as part of this project, including in future licensed datasets. Where a contribution is used commercially we intend to preserve attribution to the contributor. You can ask us to remove your contribution at any time.

No advice, no warranty

Content on these pages is submitted by members of the public and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It is provided as-is, without warranty, and is not professional, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on it for consequential decisions.

Corrections and removal

If something published here about you or your organization is inaccurate, write to reporting@knowsomething.co and a person will review it promptly.

Governing terms

We may update these terms as the project develops; material changes will be reflected in the date above.
